Great reaction! SO MUCH happens in this episode!! Though I would argue with you about the mayor not doing anything bad - he was feeding babies to demons a few episodes ago!!!! lol I love how much you ship Buffy and Faith though, yeah Angel, just leave :D And yeah, Giles IS 'so hot' lmao This is where I talk about Band Candy being more important than it appears. It SEEMS like just a fun episode and not much important happens but really it's setting up massive parallels between both Giles and Buffy and Giles and Faith and, therefore, Buffy and Faith. Basically, in this episode Buffy is angry, REALLY angry, she's had her faith in authority destroyed in Helpless AND there's the call back to drowning and how she behaved after that. So, she and Faith break in to a shop to steal stuff get arrested and assault some cops, basically what Ripper did in Band Candy. Also, it ends in a death, like it did with Ripper all those years ago. Also, Giles is having his own mini rebellion - you are so right, bitchy Giles is best Giles :D Anyway, great episode!
