This series was taken during Christmas of last year when a dear photographer friend of mine was visiting from Switzerland. She had just lost her husband and was going through a tough time, and we organized and shot with Erika at the beach one day to distract ourselves from the emotional time. It was a fun and pleasant day, but the images easily captured the mood we were all feeling. I hope you enjoy this meditative, artsy series, it's incredibly special to me.
