BLONDE AMBITION

Cherish is probably the model I’ve shot the longest, over a decade now, and still as lovely as ever. She’s sweet and fun and dorky, and doesn’t take herself too seriously. 

The last week has been a challenge. Sometimes this quarantine, and all the emotional and physical demands that come from it, can be a bit overwhelming, even for me. Usually I’m a pretty even-keel, calm person who takes things as it comes. I don’t become stressed easily, I rarely give in to nervousness or anxiety. 

Most of my life, aside from my parents and brother and his family, I’ve had the luxury of only needing to look after myself. And through ups and downs, I have to admit I’ve had a better than average life. I’ve traveled, I’ve imbibed, I’ve laughed and loved, failed and won and failed again. And it’s been a blast.

But now that I have a family and my concerns are obviously bigger. My daily life is keeping morale up, making sure everyone is being able to do what is needed for their lives and their sanity. And sometimes they aren’t doing well, and it’s difficult to steer the ship right again. And that’s what life was like this week. But life will go on, and we’ll be ok. Because we don’t have any other option.

I hope you are all doing your best out there in this crazy new world. Please enjoy this new, beautiful series of my dear friend, and please stay safe out there!
