Aila's Ramblings - 2/17/23 - How many chapters left?

Okay, we are near the end.  I see the light at the end of the tunnel!  

Also, as I'm away from my computer all day Monday on a long drive back, I may not get back in time to release the chapters for the first and second tiers, so I will release them early.  The third (ALL THE COINS) tier is scheduled to go up at the regular time.  

📚 The Last Chapters 🕮

We have about 6 chapters of the main story left, then I've decided to try to do one character-focused one-shot for each of the Love Interests that takes place randomly after the story to sort of round out their Love Interest Ending.  When they take place varies, but it will be between the end of the main story and their mid-twenties.  

The Love Interest Endings *SHOULD* be posted bi-weekly on Mondays and Fridays, as with Tales of an NPC, those one-shots will be longer than a usual chapter.  (Just give me a little time to rest.  Please.)

😎 NPCs and 🏘️ Villages

At this point, all the name-an-NPC and/or village that have been submitted (which are optional and totally NOT mandatory) should have already been named and mentioned in the main story.  If, for whatever reason, you forgot and still wanted to name an NPC and/or village OR I missed your message on it and you didn't see your NPC, let me know.  

We have 6 chapters left, but do have one-shots waiting.

📖 The One-Shots 📗

After much consideration, I'm going to write a bunch of Tori Transmigrated one-shots - AFTER I take an extented break, but with no set schedule at the moment because I am burnt out.  

This will mainly include post-story slice-of-life, character-centric stories, what happened in the original game's ending from Piers' POV, and the various NPC one-shots I wanted to write originally.  I say one-shots, but they may end up like "The Abduction", which was 3 chapters.

Also, when/if I write a new story, I'll toss it here first.  Right now, "The Wicked House of Caroline" (fantasy, drama, family) and "Paradiso" (sci-fi, fantasy, space, drama, a little romance) are still running rampant through my head and I've not decided which I want to write first, if I want to write them at all.

🪙 Your Patronage 🪙

With the story coming to a close at the beginning of March and the Love Interest Endings by the end of March, REMEMBER TO END YOUR...what is this called...subscription?  Membership?

Remember to take me off any reoccurring charges starting in April.  If you wish to still have access to the Patreon-only stuff, then downgrade to the lowest tier.  I'm not going to be posting a lot and I don't want you to waste your money (in this economy?).  

I was on the fence about keeping the Patreon open or if I should freeze it indefinitely, but thus cutting off the various Patreon-only stuff.  They were written specifically for Patreon and unless they're in an ebook, that is how they will stay.

Ultimately, I've decided to let you decide for yourself.  I don't feel comfortable making such a decision, but at the same time, I don't want you to continue support if there is nothing to support since I won't be writing much, just random one-shots.

I also realized that there could be a case where someone subscribed for the year and it has not yet concluded.  If that is your case, please let me know and we'll figure something out.  Did you have a character you wanted a one-shot on specifically?  

There is a lot still in my head, but nothing that is a linear story.  A lot of it is a random short, like Henrik getting a girlfriend, Ilyana living her best life, why the crystal table no longer calls to Piers, and other slice of life ridiculousness.  Also I'm tired.  

I will continue to keep the Patreon and the Discord open.  If anyone has any questions (or suggestions), please let me know.  As many of you know, this was my first time doing this, so I'm still rather inexperienced.  

Please note that I will be out of the country for the last two weeks of April, so I won't be able to write or update at all during that time.
