Tales of an NPC: Sir Ivan Dobchek, First Tier Imperial Knight, Escort Knight to the First Prince of Soleil

His path to knighthood started unexpectedly.

Thanks for the ... parallel chapter? The fore-shadow-ings of hoped for events, and a feverish Sir Nassaun at some point(!) were fun to see.

This was such a great read, thank you! Oh the agony though. I'm shipping them so hard, yet know it'll never be.

Wow 🤩

I loved this!!

(Just because I can’t wait doesn’t mean I can’t be forced to wait.)

I love it, the timelines, the outside perspective- it all augments the main story beautifully. Thank you for sharing it with us.

By waiting until the spoilers aren’t spoilers anymore. Which probably means waiting quite a long time.

Simon Hoerder

How would you write that though and Not have it be filled with spoilers?

Same, a point of view shift like this once in a while can do wonders to help show the way of the world, it was a delightful read to boot :D

I loved this. I wish this had come earlier. It feels like it addresses a lot of the relationship angst I’ve seen other commenters have. Haha “they’re both… weird”

Aaarrrgggghhhh. Now I can’t wait for the one-shot where an old Piers looks back on his life and the defining moments of his time with Tori. How I‘d love to see that first meeting from his perspective, with a bit of old-age wisdom to temper what must‘ve been a stressful (anticipation!) yet confusing (pleasant? relaxed? attracted?) meeting for Piers. Very nice chapter!

Amazing 🤩

Heh. Nice to get a view from that angle. One of my favorite episodes of Babylon 5 followed... A pair of janitors. The 'Events' of the episode were happening like normal, but we saw it from the view of nominal background characters.
