Sadly, without being able to hear me yelling "TURN AROUND!!" when a large wave was coming, she ended up taking the full brunt of it's power. It knocked her over and she disappeared for a full second or two, only to emerge laughing and smiling. Without being able to help in any way from shore, I just kept clicking away, knowing we'd both want to remember this moment.

To illustrate just how fun and sweet and positive she is, not once did she complain. As you can see in the images, she found the whole experience silly and funny and exhilarating, the hallmark of a truly great person. i culdn't have been more proud of her.
