We're here at the finish line, and I've got two potential covers for you all to help me decide on!
Take a look, let me know! Both are amazing pieces, and I'd be happy either way.

Currently the image looks like Lun'Kat is simply raiding a random place. If you take the first picture and have her face the reader it would look like she is actively targeting us. But that depends on what feeling you want the cover to have.

2025-04-16 21:13:41 +0000 UTCHow involved will we be with the dragon in the final book. Will she actually take them serious? I could see a really epic image being if the dragon is facing directly against the reader. Flying between/ beneath the dragon eyes moons.

I feel like the more focused style of version 1 fits much better as a cover art. 2 has eye catching parts that drag the gaze around, but 1 has a more cohesive style that leads you to appreciate the image as a whole more. If it's an option, I would suggest having 1 as the cover and 2 as an art insert at the relevant point in the story. If you want to avoid doing something like that this late into the series when you haven't before, you could have the art displayed after the epilogue.
