Paused billing for a month

September has been a bit of a bust, with only one post so far. I am hoping for more, but wondering if the stress of producing is paralysing me a little. So I am pausing payment for October to hopefully balance this out a little bit, and I will keep writing and posting for the month.
My list of excuses for September is as follows:
Return trip to UK & Jet lag
2-year-old with Jet lag for a week, no joke up every night
Returning to work
Same job, new role
Wife starting fourth and final year of degree
Children returning to school
Cat peeing on the bed (repeatedly)
Reading too much on Royal Road
Watching Wheel of Time, Murders in the Building etc.
A fair few 0.5-star reviews over the last fortnight
Maybe a little burnt out

2023-09-27 21:46:27 +0000 UTCDam, those excuses are better than mine, mind if I steal them? Also, no worries man, as an engineer sometimes my innovations are boom and bust, just like an author's writing. Don't beat yourself up too much it happens to anything remotely creative.
