What next?

So here it is again. :D
I feel chapters 201, 202 and 203 covered coming clean, quest and kingdom building. There may be another prep chapter to write about advisors and their opinions on the quest (But not every other reveal), So this is the same poll without the three options I'd like to think we've covered.
(IRL - still waiting on the last of 5 missing bags to turn up (੭•̀ω•́) but trying not to sweat the small stuff)

Doesn’t he leave well before Aleera needs to debut, due to his age change she is only 5-6 yrs older, he needs to leave at 10 so Aleera would be 16 max still a good 4 yrs before she would be presented. So depend on voyage length for if he needs to complete debut prep beforehand

2023-08-14 09:07:59 +0000 UTCI would love to read more about Aleera. What is her stats? Is she learning to fight? She was supposed to learn but all we read are the male side. Are the females learning to fight also or just learning magic. Aleera and Kai seem to have drifted apart or the writer stopped including Aleera. Maybe it just me. Will Aleera go with Kai? That would be a great brother and sister adventure.

2023-08-14 06:02:36 +0000 UTCThe trouble is all these options need to be developed somewhat together, though I feel like the next big thing should be dragon rearing/debut prep/voyage prep. Obviously, the dragon is going to be developing over the next few years while they prep, and it was stated that he needs to leave at about the same time that Aleera heads to court for her debut so those options are kinda joined. Really exploring dragon development can maybe wait until they are on their journey and have stuff happen to cause it to grow in new and unexpected ways, I don't know. Political stuff has mostly been handled for now, but there will always be a maverick that makes trouble, maybe start setting something up with that, foreshadow, you know. Another look at where they are in their training, their current level of advancement wouldn't be out of place right now, it has been a while since we have seen any of it. However, the shiny option is excavation and exploration of the buried city. I don't know how involved you want him to be in that.
