& . . . This week I paid for part of a deposit on a house.
I will finally move out of my parent’s house (we moved back in to build up a deposit) and get a foot on the property ladder before I turn 40. All it took was a second job of writing a story!

2023-03-11 02:27:42 +0000 UTCCongratulations, the best advice I ever got was to look up instructables, I got to do my bathroom and a lot of walls isolation all by myself. I saved money on one side and on the other i learned that things need maintenance and you can find a lot of examples step by step. I got courage to try things I wasn't comfortable with and have 1n idea what needed to be done when calling for repairs.

I highly recommend investing in good toilets if the house doesn't already have them - just in general being able to change anything to be like you want it, is fantastic. Also, getting the sewer scoped before you close could save you a nasty surprise later D:
