K-Producer C45 Marketing tactics and next concert

A week later, Byul-ho was in his office signing the final contracts for Mobs Club and Iniseu. He held the pen over the dotted line, then signed his name with a flourish. It felt good to accomplish something so tangible: Golden-Star Entertainment had just gotten deals for a total of fifty-eight million won.

Byul-ho called a meeting with his employees and Ascend members after he looked over the documents one more time. He knew everyone would be curious.

“I have some news,” he announced, trying to keep his voice steady but failing because of how excited he was. “We’ve officially signed endorsement deals with Mobs Club and Iniseu.”

The room erupted in cheering; Jae-sung’s eyes went wide. “Two companies? That’s insane, Byul-ho!”

Min-jae couldn’t help himself. “How much are they worth?”

Byul-ho grinned, pausing dramatically before answering. “Fifty-eight million won.”

There was a beat of stunned silence before everyone started screaming again.

“This is huge,” Sung-ho breathed in awe.

Byul-ho nodded, expression turning serious again. “It is... but it also means we have a lot of work ahead of us. We need to prove that we’re worth every won.”

For the next few days, Golden-Star Entertainment was buzzing with activity as boxes arrived from both Mobs Club and Iniseu — clothes and skincare products for the group to use and promote.

As Byul-ho sorted through everything that had come in, he found himself impressed by what they’d been sent: oversized hoodies with bold graphics that were street-style-meets-high-fashion; distressed denim with unique patterns; accessories that added just the right amount of edge to complete each look.

“Actually kinda sick,” Jae-sung commented once, holding up a black bomber jacket with intricate embroidery on the back.

Byul-ho nodded, grinning. “They’ll make you guys stand out on stage and in our videos, that’s for sure.”

The skincare products from Iniseu were just as impressive: sleek packaging housing a whole range of serums, moisturizers, face masks — all promising to keep the members’ skin camera-ready at all times.

After another couple days of this, Byul-ho started sharing videos of their training sessions on their social media accounts; in the clips, they were wearing different pieces from the Mobs Club line — unique designs that caught others eye even as they did intense dance routines.

On breaks during practice, the camera would linger on one member or another’s face as they patted their skin dry or quickly applied a layer of moisturizer; their skin seemed to glow even under the harsh lights of the practice room.

What was interesting about Byul-ho’s posts was that he never mentioned either brand by name — he just captioned his videos with updates on their progress and teasers for upcoming content.

Byul-ho glanced at the comments section of the video, waiting for someone to ask about the products. He was just thinking about making a dummy account to get the ball rolling when he saw a comment appear:

@패션덕후_99: "That hoodie looks really cool! What brand is it?"

Grinning, Byul-ho quickly typed out a reply: "It's from Mobs Club."

Another comment popped up soon after:

@뷰티女神: "The members' skin looks so good. What skincare products are they using?"

Chuckling, Byul-ho answered back: "We've been loving the Iniseu products lately. They really work!"

As more and more comments flooded in, asking about different clothing items or skincare products, Byul-ho realized that maybe he had underestimated it just a bit. Feeling a headache coming on from trying to keep up with everything, he decided it was time to delegate.

"Yoo Na-rae!" he called down the hall towards their social media manager's office.

Na-rae poked her head in from where she had been sitting at her own desk nearby. "Yes, Byul-ho-ssi?"

"Can you take over responding to the comments about our new partnerships? Make sure you mention the Mobs Club clothes and Iniseu skincare."

Na-rae's eyes lit up at the opportunity for fan interaction. "Of course! I'll make sure to keep the buzz going."

And take over she did, deftly fielding each wave of incoming comments and questions with ease.

The strategy was working even better than he had anticipated. Now all that was left was planning out their official announcement of the partnerships and first major campaign featuring Ascend for both brands.

In her large bedroom, Min-ji scrolled through Ascend's social media accounts on her computer. Her brows were furrowed in concentration as she clicked through their various posts, keeping an eye out for how Byul-ho would handle the promotion of Mobs Club.

At first, she felt a pang of doubt. None of the captions or posts made any direct mention of the brand. "Is he trying to back out of the deal?" she mumbled to herself.

But as she continued scrolling, her expression shifted. She came across a series of high-quality photos featuring the Ascend members against a stark white background. Each shot had them in different Mobs Club outfits, striking poses that showed off the unique design of the clothes.

Min-ji's eyes widened as she looked at the comment section. Fans were asking about the clothes and Ascend account was responding with casual mentions of Mobs Club as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

A small smile played on Min-ji's lips as she realized what Byul-ho was doing. "Clever," she murmured, shaking her head with amusement. "Very clever."

It was a smart move, she had to admit. By not overtly advertising for them but instead letting fans' curiosity drive conversation, Byul-ho was making it seem more organic and genuine.

Leaning back in her chair, Min-ji felt a mix of admiration and competitiveness simmer within her stomach. She hadn't expected Byul-ho to be this marketing-savvy—what other surprises did he have up his sleeve?

"Well played indeed, Byul-ho," she said aloud to herself, still scrolling through the posts. "This partnership might be more interesting than I thought."

As Min-ji muttered her praise for Byul-ho's methods under her breaths, there came a voice from behind her that made her jump.

“Byul-ho? Who’s he?”

Min-ji turned her chair around to face the doorway where Dong-hyul was standing. “Oppa! You scared me,” she exclaimed, placing her hand on her chest.

Dong-hyul raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Apologies. But you did not answer my question. Who is Byul-ho?”

Min-ji hesitated for a moment, before Dong-hyul's eyes lit up in recognition. “Wait, isn't he that young CEO you mentioned? The one who owns the group you’re interested in?”

Regaining her composure, Min-ji nodded. “Yes, that's right. Jeon Byul-ho, the CEO of Golden-Star Entertainment.”

Dong-hyul leaned closer and peered at the screen of the tablet. “And what has this Byul-ho guy done to impress you so much?”

A faint blush crept up Min-ji's cheeks but her voice remained steady. “He's just... handling the endorsement deal we made with his group in an interesting way – clever marketing.”

Her brother’s eyes narrowed slightly, a smile playing on his lips. “Is that so?”

Over the next few days, Byul-ho could see that something was different in the fan comments. People were starting to catch on to Ascend’s new style – they recognized the Mobs Club clothes, saw the improved skin texture of the group, and linked it back to Iniseu.

“Wow, those Mobs Club clothes suit them so well! Ascend looks even cooler now.”

“Is this because of Iniseu? Their skin is so pretty!”

With this organic growth of brand recognition under his belt, Byul-ho shifted his focus towards Ascend’s upcoming concert. The Olympic Hall in Seoul had a capacity of 4,000 people – a huge jump from their previous 300-seat show.

He pulled up the ticket sales report on his computer. They’d sold 1,280 tickets just two days after announcing it. Leaning back in his chair, he felt proud yet anxious about what they had coming for them.

“1,280 tickets in two days,” he said aloud with a smile. “I’ll take it.”

The success came from viral short clips from their first concert and attendees spreading good word-of-mouth – but there was nothing quite like seeing those numbers right in front of him.
