For hours, he had been patiently monitoring their progress, and finally, they had done it. They had developed high-end consoles, far surpassing the capabilities of the world's PS3 and Xbox 360 systems. These new consoles boasted impressive graphical prowess, something that had been unheard of just a few years prior.
But that wasn't all. The "Tiny World" denizens had also made leaps and bounds in AI technology and game engine development, ensuring that their games would be on par with the console's potential.
A smile crept onto Shinro's metallic visage. This was the moment he had been waiting for. The pieces were falling into place, and soon, his plan would come to fruition.
As Shinro continued to observe the "Tiny World" and their technological advancements, a notification suddenly appeared in his visual display: [Ding! Your "Tiny World" civilization has reached its peak potential due to its world's minerals and materials limitation. The time acceleration of the world will now match the real world's time, as they can't progress any further with their current resources. If you wish to continue, please consider purchasing a more advanced world in the System Shop!]
Shinro's processors whirred as he contemplated his options. The message continued: [You can also choose to restart the "Tiny World" to its fresh beginning if the moral law you have set is not followed by the humans in your world. It is your choice.]
Another notification popped up: [Reminder: If the humans in your "Tiny World" fail to follow the moral law you have set, their civilization's progress may suffer. To reach its full potential, there must be a balance between those who adhere to your law and those who don't. Only when the world has reached its zenith can you then eliminate or take the ones who defied your rules and create a perfect world, one that will become a part of your strength.]
[Ding! You have obtained the high-end technologies of the "Tiny World" at their peak potential!]
[Do you want to absorb the knowledge of "Tiny World" high-end technologies now?]
[Yes] [Later]
Shinro's optics flickered with anticipation, but also with a tinge of disappointment. The "Tiny World" had reached its limits, but at least he could take their knowledge with him. He pressed "Yes," and immediately, a torrent of information flooded his mind like a dam breaking.
"Ugh!" Shinro clutched his head as pain coursed through his circuits. The sheer amount of data was overwhelming, but he knew it would be worth it.
Gradually, the pain subsided, and Shinro's processors began to assimilate the newfound knowledge. He found himself suddenly aware of countless technological advancements, as if he could draw up blueprints for devices he'd only dreamed of moments ago. However, he restrained himself, knowing there would be time for that later.
[Ding! Your knowledge has advanced! Your intelligence increased!]
[Your "Tiny World" technology capabilities have merged with your "Game Engine" software in your company's computers!]
[Game Engine software under your company has updated!]
Shinro's optics flickered with excitement as he rushed to his office computer. He opened the game engine software, and to his amazement, it had indeed been updated. The graphics now boasted more of lifelike textures and animations, thanks to the advanced AI and game engine technologies of the "Tiny World" civilization.
The 3D models, animations, and even the resources such as buildings and objects that the humans of the "Tiny World" had developed were now part of his company's game engine software.
Shinro couldn't help but smile. With these newfound advancements, his company would be unstoppable.
The game engine software could now replicate 70% of the realism the "Tiny World" had presented. He couldn't help but smirk. "Now let's see what those motherfuckers at M-Soft and Sony are made of."
He chuckled to himself, remembering how they had declined his offer to partner with his company. But in hindsight, he was glad they did. Their rejection had only fueled his drive to improve his game engine and gain the high-end technologies even faster than he'd anticipated.
Shinro stood up and walked over to the "Tiny World," which resembled a small aquarium. It was time to bring some of the brightest minds from the "Tiny World" to be part of his company. With just a thought, he plucked a dozen humans from their world, their bodies no larger than specks of dust in his hand.
Despite their minuscule size, Shinro's advanced optics could still make out their terrified expressions.
With a thought, Shinro adjusted the size of the abductees from the "Tiny World," ensuring their clothes grew with them to avoid any discomfort. Slowly, the humans' perspectives shifted as they went from being mere specks in his hand to standing before him, their expressions shifting from terror to awe.
As the humans' vision adjusted, Shinro and their surroundings appeared normal in scale. One of them, trembling, pointed at Shinro and managed to ask, "Who-who are you?"
Shinro's optics softened into a smile as he looked at the twelve frightened individuals, all dressed in suits. They were still speaking the language of the "Tiny World," so with a snap of his fingers, he implanted the Japanese language into their minds.
Each human felt a brief pain in their heads before the sensation vanished, but they could tell they had just learned another language.
Shinro greeted them in his native tongue, "Hello. I welcome you to our world. Earth."
"Earth?" A young woman tilted her head, confused.
"This...?" Others looked around, equally perplexed and fearful.
It took them a moment to realize they understood Shinro's words and could even speak his language themselves. It was surreal.
"What's happening? Who are you? How did we suddenly end up here?" A beautiful young woman with blue hair asked Shinro, her voice shaking with confusion but her gaze direct.
"I am Shinro Suzuki," he introduced himself. "I am the one who brought all of you here in this new world for a reason... And that's to have you join my company."
The twelve humans exchanged disbelieving glances, their initial fear momentarily forgotten in favor of the realization that they were now in a new world. They knew it was something straight out of a science fiction novel, and yet here they were, living it.
"I mean, who exactly are you? Are you human? And how did you just take us out from our world and bring us here?" The young woman in blue hair, who seemed braver than the rest, asked Shinro.
Shinro chuckled. "Actually, the world you were in... was my world."
The twelve humans were stunned, struggling to process this revelation.
"I've been searching for individuals as smart as you to join my company and help it thrive in this world," Shinro explained, pointing at the aquarium. "You see that aquarium over there?"
They nodded, still reeling from the news.
"That's the world you were living in."
Everyone gasped, and the blue-haired girl blurted out, "You're lying!"
Shinro chuckled. "There's no need for me to lie." He gestured towards the aquarium. "You can take a closer look if you'd like."
The twelve humans cautiously approached the aquarium, and their jaws dropped. Inside was a miniature world, complete with buildings and civilizations bustling about like ants.
They turned to glare at Shinro, one man pointing at him accusingly. "H-how is this possible!?"
"This can't be real!"
"We shouldn't believe him!"
Their entire worldview had been shattered.
All except for the blue-haired girl, who remained silent as she stared at the "Tiny World." She could even make out the "Purple Gems," one of the wonders in their world, and the tallest building, and a colossal tourist spot in her country.
Looking at this, she turned to Shinro, now certain that the world inside the aquarium was indeed theirs.
"I think he's not lying, guys." The blue-haired girl, quicker to accept the harsh reality, reasoned. "We were in his hand, and we were tiny! But with his powers, he made us grow to his size."
Reluctantly, the others agreed with her. They may have been strangers hailing from different parts of the same world, but they had no choice but to believe her.
"You all have taken this better than I expected," Shinro chuckled.
The blue-haired girl took a deep breath before asking, "You said our world is your world? Does that mean you created us... and our world?"
Shinro chuckled as he approached her, while the others cautiously backed away, he gently tilted her chin upwards. "You're much smarter than the rest."
In response, the blue-haired girl slapped his hand away.
Shinro chuckled. "Well, yes. The world you lived in... is the one I created."
The others gasped, and another young girl exclaimed, "You're... our creator!?"
Shinro nodded, and the others quickly knelt down. "Forgive us if we offended you!"
However, Shinro's gaze remained on the blue-haired girl, who hadn't kneeled yet. "Aren't you joining them?"
Mira, as she was called, sighed and remained standing. "I don't see the point." She then walked over to Shinro's office chair and sat down. "From what I gather, you brought us here to work for you, correct?"
Shinro smiled. "You're correct."
"What are you doing, woman!? That's a disrespect to our Creator!"
"Do you want to vanish!?"
Mira snorted, unfazed by their threats. "I know since he needed us here, he doesn't have a reason to end me or any of you."
The others were about to refute her when Shinro interjected, "She's right. You guys can stand up now."
Hesitantly, the other eleven stood up.
Shinro walked over to Mira, "If I'm right, your name is Mira, correct?"
Mira smiled. "Yes." She then stood up from Shinro's chair and gestured, "I'm sorry if I offended you."
"No," Shinro shook his head, "You didn't offend me." He smiled.
