King of Games C17 Astonishing results

Shinro's eyes were glued to his computer screen as he monitored the web server logs. His heart raced with anticipation, waiting for the results of his latest marketing strategy. He had just shared a link to his website in the comments of a viral video, and he was eager to see if it would pay off. Suddenly, the visitor count on his website began to spike, dozens of new users flooding onto the page. "It's working," he whispered to himself, a grin creeping onto his face.

As the minutes ticked by, the number of registered users on his website also started to climb. "They're falling for it," he thought, a hint of satisfaction in his voice. His plan was simple yet effective: offer a three-minute of the viral video, but require viewers to register on his website to watch the full version. It seemed that curiosity and FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) were powerful motivators, as people flocked to create accounts to satisfy their need to know what they were missing.

Shinro leaned back in his chair, a smirk playing on his lips. "This is going to be big," he mused aloud. The influx of traffic and new registrations were just the beginning, he knew. With this many eyeballs on his site, his brand would soon be popular.

---

John, a director from the "History" channel, leaned in closer to his computer screen, captivated by the fascinating three-minute video of Homo Habilis. As he scrolled down the comment section, he couldn't help but notice the overwhelming praise for the impeccable CGI details. "This is incredible," he muttered to himself. The video had already amassed over two hundred thousand views in just a few days, and it was only gaining more traction by the minute.

It was only a matter of time before other networks took notice.

His eyes widened as he skimmed through the comments, realizing that the person who created the video had pinned a comment with a link. "If you want to watch the thirty minutes of full version of this video, go and click the link below!" the comment read. John's eyebrows shot upwards. "Wait, there's more?" he said aloud, his interest piqued.

John knew that the "History" channel couldn't afford to miss out on this opportunity.

Such attention to detail and realism in the CGI was hard to come by, and if they could acquire the rights to air the full video or even hire the talented creator, it would be a massive coup.

John's fingers flew across the keyboard as he followed the link to a website called "KiShin." The homepage featured the thumbnail of the Homo Habilis video, but this time, it was for a full thirty-minute version. His curiosity piqued, John quickly registered an account and pressed play on the video.

As the video started, John's skepticism lingered. "There's no way this can be real," he muttered, prepared to be disappointed by subpar CGI. However, as the minutes ticked by, his doubts melted away. The Homo Habilis hunted, played with their families, and even faced off against vicious predators, all in stunningly realistic detail.

John's jaw hung open in disbelief. "How did he pull this off?" he wondered aloud. The attention to detail was astounding, far surpassing anything he'd seen before in such a short amount of time.

Before he knew it, the thirty minutes had flown by, and the video came to an end.

"Damn," John breathed, shaking his head in disbelief. "How long did it take him to create something like this?"

---

Shinro's heart raced as he watched the view count for the full thirty-minute Homo Habilis video climb. "Five thousand views in just a short time," he marveled, a grin spreading across his face. His plan to turn his website, KiShin, into a platform not only for his video games but also for other content creators like himself was starting to look plausible.

However, he knew it was too soon to celebrate. "Rome wasn't built in a day," he reminded himself.

Of course, he knew it would take time before his website could rival the likes of Netflix, which didn't even exist yet in this timeline. But with enough hard work and determination, he knew it was possible.

For now, Shinro refocused his attention on his second game project: "Undertale."

"One step at a time," he reminded himself, as he delved back into his work.

Shinro knew that the system points he would earn from the potential downloads of his upcoming game, "Undertale," would be crucial in upgrading the "Tiny World."

He had already maxed out the time acceleration to 10 million times its normal speed, causing tens of thousands of years to pass within the world.

The maximum upgrade limit for the "Tiny World" was 150 million square meters in size and 20 million times the normal time acceleration. While it couldn't be upgraded any further, Shinro believed it would suffice.

"This is still thousands of times larger than its current size," he thought.

However, to upgrade it to its maximum potential all at once, he needed at least one hundred thousand system points.

Days passed by in a blur as Shinro poured his heart and soul into "Undertale." His parents, Shiro and Tomoko, began to take notice of their son's reclusive behavior. "He barely leaves his room except for meals," Tomoko whispered to her husband.

Finally, at dinner one night, Shiro decided to address the elephant in the room. "Son," he started, setting down his chopsticks, "I think you've been spending too much time in your room lately. It's not healthy."

Tomoko nodded in agreement. "You should do something with your life. I can get you a position at the family's company. It'll be good for you to get out and do something meaningful."

Even Ayako and Sonoko, who were also present at the table, nodded in agreement. "What are you even doing in there, anyway?" Tomoko pressed, her voice laced with concern.

Shinro looked up from his food, a flicker of annoyance in his eyes. "I'm working on something important, Mom," he said curtly.

Tomoko frowned, her eyebrows knitting together. "Important?" she scoffed, not trying to hide her skepticism.

Shinro sighed, feeling a familiar helplessness creeping up on him. "Father, Mother," he started, "just because I'm in my room doesn't mean I'm not doing anything with my life. I'm working on a project."

Shiro and Tomoko exchanged glances, their brows furrowing. "What kind of project are you working on?" Shiro asked, genuinely curious.

Even Sonoko and Ayako leaned in, intrigued.

Shinro took a deep breath. "I'm developing a game," he said.

"A game?" Sonoko exclaimed, her voice dripping with disbelief.

Shinro nodded, refusing to meet her gaze. "Yes, a video game," he clarified.

Shiro's eyebrows shot upwards. "What kind of game is it?" he asked, skepticism lacing his voice. "Are you sure this is really meaningful?"

Shinro couldn't help but smile. "It's a video game, and I know it might sound insignificant to you, but I've already earned a million from my first game."

Sonoko gasped, impressed. "Wow, that's amazing!"

Shinro frowned. "A million yen? That's nothing. Converted to US dollars, it wouldn't even reach a hundred thousand."

Tomoko nodded in agreement. "That's right. You're wasting your time for a measly million yen? That's less than a month's salary for someone with your capabilities at our family's company."

Shinro couldn't help but smile. "No, I meant a million dollars," he corrected, a smug edge creeping into his voice.

Shiro froze, his chopsticks mid-air. "You're telling me you earned a million dollars from your first game?"

Shinro nodded, a smirk playing on his lips. "And it only took me a few weeks."

Tomoko's eyebrows shot upwards. "You're joking, right?"

Shinro shook his head. "I'm not. And get this: it's still growing."

The room fell silent as the gravity of his words sunk in. Although a million dollars was pocket change to the affluent Suzuki family, the fact that their reclusive son had managed to earn such an amount in such a short time was nothing short of miraculous.

After dinner, Shinro excused himself from the table and retreated to his room, a smug smile on his face. This time, no one stopped him, but he could feel their eyes boring into his back, doubt still lingering in their minds.
