Hello! This video should be after the next 2 ones from the polls, but I decided to coincide with the release of Resident Evil Village game, since this is about Lady Dimitrescu.

Also this is 2D animation. If you're wondering why - some story at the end of the post, but I'm happy with the result. Good for a change, and looks nice.

Regarding the drawing's choice - in general, when this idea won, it seems for the first time I received several dissatisfied comments at once that the character won only because of the hype (however, for me personally, this is not a problem). But the second is that this is a character that does not fit the "imbapovi style". At that time, we could only see LD in the trailer of the game, and yes, I myself was agreed that neither realistic appearance, nor age - well, this is not my specialization and personal attitude. Therefore, I made a promise to make a 2D animation with a corrected appearance style.

When the deadline came, in fact, the LD model had already been ripped from the demo version of the game. But even with a model, I felt that working without interest, I would do everything as simple and short as possible, in order to quickly get rid of a project in which I have no any sincere interest. As a result, I will be dissatisfied with the work. Therefore, I still opted for the 2D version, as originally planned. Here I was satisfied with the work and tried my best.

I myself understand that 2D animation (in the form of moving sprites) is a big step back compared to 3D animations in terms of capabilities, well, that's why they appear so rarely (this is the 4th for all time). Therefore, if someone is worried - there is no reason to worry, 3D will remain a full priority if there is a model.

In general, yes, Lady Dimitrescu, the way she looks in the game still does not suit my personal tastes (not to mention the general cartoon-anime-cute style, which many are used to in my videos), in order to make a good long 3D animation with enthusiasm. Therefore, it became 2d

I am not making excuses and not saying that this is "bad" or "worse". I really like the result. But if someone might wonder why it is 2D, although the model is in the public domain, then here is the answer.
