Story:
Jake stood in front of his bathroom mirror, tugging at his singlet, trying to adjust it over his now-solid, round belly. Is this even the same guy? he thought, eyeing the reflection staring back at him.
His singlet strained over his chest and arms, and it clung around his belly, which he hadn’t quite realized had gotten this big until now. He twisted a little to the side, taking in the way his gut pushed out. Guess I really packed on more than muscle, he thought, feeling the snug fabric stretch across his midsection. His belly wasn’t just there—it was heavy, firm, and slightly jiggled when he moved. Just standing there, he could feel the weight of it resting over his waistband, pressing out in front of him.
Alright, might as well see the damage, he thought, swallowing as he glanced over at the scale. He stepped on cautiously, bracing himself for the number he’d see.
The scale blinked to life, then finally settled. 291 pounds. He stared at it, barely able to believe his eyes. Wait… that’s 100 pounds more than I was back in June. 100 pounds?!
He couldn’t deny it now. Every inch of him felt solid and heavy, from his rounded-out belly to his thickened thighs and broad, solid arms, even his ass had grown fatter. And with each pound, he could feel his body had shifted, grown, and just… expanded. Even the simple things felt different now—walking resembled more of a waddle, bending over sometimes he couldn't quite reach the floor, and even just getting out of a chair took effort and exertion. Everything was a little heavier, a little more Jake to move around.
He ran a hand over his belly, feeling the bulk he’d gained over the summer, realizing this wasn’t just some temporary change. He’d actually become massive. Guess this is what Coach meant by bulking up… and then some.
But as he looked at himself, part of him couldn’t help but feel a surge of pride. He was bigger, stronger, and probably more intimidating than ever. He might have overdone it, but this bulk had made him… well, a force.
Alright, he thought, might as well own it. He took a deep breath, squeezed his singlet into place over his new belly, and squared his shoulders at the mirror. The scale didn’t lie—this was Jake now.
