Since he was the top webtoonist back in the day, he slowly started getting invited over to variety shows so that his popularity can bring in younger viewers. Back in 2016, he became a member of I live alone and became viral. He has been a member of that show ever since. He is very famous in Korea to the point that 95-97% of the total population knows him. He won the MBC daesang award for another travel show called Adventure by accident. There is no award bigger than the daesang so it's like he got the highest rank.
