2025-03-16 03:01:22 +0000 UTCThis episode really hits hard especially recently with what Mino and WINNER had to deal with it even before Mino was discharged from the military. D**PATCH alleged and claimed that Mino used his mental health to get special time away from doing his military services. Even posting a pic of him at a friend’s party on a weekend last year. Mind you, Mino is not an active duty soldier! Mino served as public social worker, which is basically a M-F 9-5 office job with weekends off! So that pic they claimed was violating military rules was a lie. Also, Mino’s supervisors and co-workers spoke up for Mino and debunked all claims. They even said it was hard for Mino to even come to work cuz saesangs and reporters stalk and follow him to and from work. Mino had really bad anxiety about that and felt embarrassed and guilty to his coworkers and supervisors cuz of the crowds in around the building. It was so bad that they literally have find a different exit or entrance for Mino to leave and enter the building without being spotted. They also said he followed every protocol to get approved for his time away and sometimes it was NECESSARY for him to get time away to get proper treatment and rest cuz it got that bad. The worst part of it? Mino actually was given the option to OPT OUT/pardoned from doing military service cuz he did fail the physical and mental tests. He was UNFIT to serve, but Mino insisted that he will do it because if he does not..he knows the media and people will judge him for not serving even if he had an excused they will still criticize him. And.. HE WAS RIGHT. It’s horrible that the media and public was even asking if his mental health issues is for real. Just because of those pics of him on the weekend at his friend’s party. They said he does not look like someone who has mental health issues, he looks fine. It’s just an excuse. GAHHHHH.. Korean society and media is freaking horrible! Then when those claims got disproven, D**PATCH revealed that Mino is in a relationship. Luckily, it backfired cuz ICs support all WINNER’s happiness and relationships. After things got quiet, news came out that because D**PATCH made those claims..the police has to investigate those claims. Of course Mino willingly went to the investigation to clear his name. But now it’s a waiting game to get the results of it. However, even until now there are still people doubting Mino. I won’t get into it too much cuz it pisses me off. But there is some who claim to be “ICs” and yet was sooo ready for OT3. They demanded for the other members to say something or to continue with their own activities. It was just annoying and disappointing at the same time. They even organized to send a truck to YG pleading for OT3 and demanding updates. I’m just like that is not going to help WINNER and y’all just look like horrible fans. It’s like they just need to be more patient because there is a process and legal processes when it comes to investigations. They wanted to give Mino full support and stay silent until everything is resolved.
