Schedule and various announcements

Hello! This is Naenae! 😌

In this post, I’ll be sharing information about my usual schedule and plans after March.

📦 First, here are the key updates:

1️⃣ I originally planned to take a break in February, as I do last year. However, due to my schedule, it was difficult to rest this time, so I’ve decided to take a break in March instead…!
That said, this "break" will mainly be focused on practicing drawing.
2️⃣ This year, I want to overcome my so-called "inability to draw white backgrounds" problem, so my art style and atmosphere may change a little.
3️⃣ Related to point #2, I also want to improve my drawing efficiency. To do that, I’ll start studying 3D and incorporating it into my work.
However, since I’m not yet familiar with 3D tools, I plan to use them only for backgrounds for the time being!

📦 Next, here’s my monthly schedule:

💠 Monthly Schedule: 1st – 10th

1️⃣ If I have Commercial commissions, I’ll work on them.
2️⃣ If I don’t have Commercial commissions, I’ll focus on sketches and art practice.
3️⃣ (Starting next year) If there are no Commercial commissions, in addition to sketching and art practice, I’ll also work on L2D rehabilitation and game development studies.
If I don’t have commissions, I won’t necessarily do all of the above; I’ll decide what to focus on depending on the situation!

💠 Monthly Schedule: 11th – End of the Month

1️⃣ I’ll create artwork to post on FANBOX and Patreon.
2️⃣ If there are Pixiv Requests, I’ll work on those.
3️⃣ If I receive urgent Commercial commissions from my favorite circles or major game companies, I’ll work on this first.

📦 About Character Requests (which I haven’t done for a while):

Since I haven’t been playing many games lately, I’ve lost track of recent character trends.
At this rate, I’ll keep drawing characters like Taihou, Shinano, and Kashino every month, so I’ve decided to resume character requests!
However, I’m slightly changing the rules and will see the new system is works well.

💠 Eligibility: Supporters on the 1,000yen (10$) plan or higher

💠 Period: From the announcement post until the end of March

💠 Process:

1️⃣ Once I post the request form, supporters can submit up to two characters per person via the form or post's comments.
2️⃣ After the request period ends, I will select myself half of the submitted characters. (Since this is a test run, the minimum will be three characters, and the maximum will be eight.)
3️⃣ If I’m satisfied with the process, I will reopen requests form once only one or two characters remain.
4️⃣ The priority of tasks places commercial commissions above character suggestions.

📦 Updates on Original Projects

1️⃣ Currently, game development is virtually suspended. (I need to talk about real-life matters, so I hope you can understand…! 👀💦)
2️⃣ However, most of "What kind of characters will appear?" and "What kind of world view?" are already decided, and I sometimes plan to draw manga.

3️⃣ To briefly explain my real-life situation without going into too much detail, until August or October, I can focus on personal projects without taking any of commissions.
However, the problem lies after that.
Since I’ve only delayed dealing with my issues, I’ve decided to put original projects on hold and focus on growing my fanbase until I resolve them.

📦 Considering Bringing Back Time-Limited Posts

I haven’t decided whether to reintroduce time-limited posts yet, but there’s a possibility that I might bring them back.

The reason is that since Gumroad became unusable for me, I’ve been struggling to find a suitable platform for selling content. However, Patreon recently introduced a shop feature that allows selling files, similar to Gumroad.

That said, the current format is very easy to manage, so I might just upload files to the shop without bringing back time-limited posts.
