The refs kekecoyotl gave me got me on an old school anime kick, I did some referencing Alberto the Impact / Shocking Alberto from the Giant Robo OVA, and a bit of Mega Man Legends concept art.

Also knew i wanted to put it in some kind of liminal space like a back room somewhere, had some Twin Peaks in mind for that.

The distortion effect in the background is just a stock photo of some iridescent vinyl, but sliced into a couple pieces to wrap around the wall and floor and with a few spots cranked up or down in brightness so it didn't pull away focus too much.

The peeling away effect, and the candy manifesting from the matter of the walls and floor, i very much had the opening of the first Hellboy movie in mind when Rasputin gets pulled apart, always thought that was cool.

Trying to get in the habit of yapping a bit about my thoughts on these pieces more, I'll get better at verbalizing things later lol
