2024-09-06 22:07:36 +0000 UTCLights flicker on video when the FPS you are shooting at and the Lighting Refresh rate (Hertz or Hz for short) are out of sync. You seem to be shooting 60FPS and Australia's Power system is going to make most general lighting flicker at 50Hz. If the camera you are using has a 50FPS mode or a 25FPS mode, that should fix it immediately. If not there are some things you can do with shutter speed and angle settings, but those aren't usually an option on a lot of Consumer cameras and would be more common on "Prosumer" models, usually for no less than $500. This site can help if you do have control over shutter: https://www.urbanvideo.ca/avoid-video-flicker Alternatively you can try to find lights that have a higher refresh rate , ideally with a whole multiple of the FPS.
