Yeah! I do enjoy this one for giving us more of his “who”. I love all the metaphors in the writing! It allows for more richer storytelling and works building! 😊
2022-02-13 16:46:53 +0000 UTCThis is a great character episode for Jet. Not so much where he's from, but who he is. The development of his character will come later, as Tay said. And Kyle, you are absolutely right to look for metaphors in Bebop, the show is thick with them. "La Fin" can mean a lot of things here; to me, the most powerful is Alisa teaching Jet how to stop carrying a torch, and move on emotionally. The Black Dog sunk his teeth into her a long time ago, and he finally learned how to let her go.
