Happy Monday, sugah!
Here's a little Rogue drawing as we jump into the new week. Was planning on getting it up last Friday night for you, but we had some overnight friends arrive that day and I wasn't able to color it until yesterday. Now that it's done, thinking it could be fun to make a set of 90's X-Men cards this? Maybe for HeroesCon this summer? Dunno if I'll have the time though. Should probably at least draw Gambit to pair with her.
So who's watched X-Men '97 yet? I liked it! I thought it was a great balance of nostalgia and keeping things fresh. My youngest dug it too and now I'm swarmed with a constant barrage of X-Men questions. He's very concerned about who the most important and powerful is and it's nice to be able to tell him how none of them really are. They all have a different personality and ability (and exaggerated accent!) that makes them work well as a team. It's just one of many things that makes the X-Men so fun to watch. That and how even the most ridiculous storylines always somehow seem to work. Should be a fun weekly break from the other creative, ridiculous show we watch together every morning (One Piece).
Speaking of breaks, it is Spring Break (for us)! And we have family from out of town staying with us this entire week. So apologies in advance if I'm not able post anything new for a few days. I do have a sketch I just need to ink and watercolor though so hopefully I'll at least be able to get to that. Otherwise, have an astonishing week!
💚💛
