Girl in a Cheongsam Dress

Hi, all!

Here a little relaxing piece to end the work week. Another sketch commission for one of your fellow patrons. No particular character this time around; just a girl in a traditional cheongsam dress. Here's a little wip photo of it when I was contemplating whether or not to make it a duotone piece.

I kinda like the way those stones look before I finished inking them. I might play around with that in a future watercolor. Also, it feels weird posting yet another piece of art that evokes a springtime vibe when I'm still seeing reports of snowstorms. I'm so sorry about that. Spring will be here before you know it, northerners! Hang in there!

Anyways, it's been a really busy week for me as I'm on a very tight deadline to get the second Spidey book done. I've been coloring coloring coloring. Thankfully this is the last stage of the book and then I'm going to try to sneak in a little preview of it in here for you guys. As long as you can keep a secret. Can you do that? If not, plz LMK. I also have a big process post in the works. It's taking me a while to compile it though so it'll have to hold off till next week. Something to look forward to at least. And I think we're past due for some new phone wallpapers! Those'll be coming too. :)
