Batgirl's Christmas Vacation (2017)
Added 2022-12-15 20:00:04 +0000 UTC2017 was a return to my regular Batgirl Supergirl holiday tradition and once again I went with another two-page comic. In fact, this one holds the record for most panels in any of these little BG/SG adventures! That third one of Babs throwing off her crime-fighting responsibilities is still one of my favorites.
It's not always easy looking back on my early work, but I feel like mid-late 2017 is where I started to finally find my groove as a cartoonist. I became more confident with my style, thought more about sequential storytelling and worked harder to improve my facial features, acting and anatomy. While maybe not perfect (nothing ever is) I'm really happy with how this particular comic flows. Almost as happy as I am with my past self for sneaking a porg into it.
