Tier Changes

Hi Space Cats!

Please read this entire update since it might affect your membership next month (and going forward).

First off, the Official Space Cat tier will be changing to Super Space Cat. No reason for this other than I just like the name better. It also fits with all the superhero fan art I've been posting. ALSO I think y'all are super (actually, I guess these are all reasons). There will be NO changes to the rewards in this tier.

Secondly, for those eager to see what I'm working on for my next graphic novel, I've finally (albeit slowly) started updating the Treasured Space Cat tier with a behind the scenes look at what is going into it. Right now, it's going to be a lot of concept art (characters, places, etc). After that I'll start moving on to the actual pages I'm drawing. I'm really excited to start sharing stuff with some of you!

NOW FOR THE MAJOR CHANGE...

Starting this week, the Wild Space Cat tier will be switching from a limited $70 sketch tier to an open $10 random sketch tier.

Between graphic novel work keeping me very busy, shipping costs and Patreon fees, I simply can't afford the time it takes to get five or so extra sketches completed each month. I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but sometimes those sketches do take longer than they look. However, I still really like drawing those little watercolors, so this is what I'm going to try:

• Random generated commission requests - Every so often, I'll randomly select Wild Space Cats for character sketches. Patrons will have the option of getting a character sketch or decline. Sketches will be $75 (+ shipping). The number of sketches I offer will depend on my schedule.
• First access to traditional art purchases (non-auction) - Anytime I put any traditional art in my shop, Wild Space Cats will have the first opportunity to purchase it.
• Private auctions - For when it might be nice not to be just "in the right place at the right time" to nab original art.
• 25% off all prints in my online store (I do hope to update it with new prints soon, I promise).
• No limit on number of patrons - I want everyone to have a chance to get a sketch if they want, commissions or otherwise. Of course, the more patrons, the less chances, so it's a bit of a gamble. Hence the WILD part of this space cat tier.
• Maybe some bonus stuff? I love bonus stuff.
• And of course, everything available in the Super and Treasured tiers.

NOTE: SuperBatobers WILL NOT be Wild Space Cat exclusive. The few that will be available here (and I'm still unsure which ones those will be) will be auctioned up for everyone (Super Space Cat tier and up). I feel that's only fair since I know many of you joined up in the hopes of getting one. 

Since Patreon charges at the first of each month, I wanted y'all to have an opportunity to change your tier if you so desire. Here's an easy guide on how to switch your membership.

Lastly, you can now save 10% off your membership cost if you sign up annually (I only just found out this was an option otherwise I would have made it available from the beginning).

I fully realize there will be some who decide to discontinue their patronage and for that I totally understand and I seriously cannot thank you enough for your support. I've been able to focus so much more on drawing the things I love since I started this experiment back in May, and I hope that I can continue to do so for many months to come. From the bottom of my heart, everyone here has been the best.
