What if Espen and Ilya were too late to rescue Arcelia? Or what if they got caught in a peril of their own? Seems as if a heart-like structure has formed around her, slowly converting her into a mana generating organ... Now she's fully settled in~
(This happened during the other route where Ilya got captured by the suction cephalopod and not found, but likely not in the ones so far where Espen has gotten rescued)
(PS: Another sort of bad end will be coming near the end of the comic too~ :D)

And if this is the branch where Ilya is gobbled up and never found, there won't be much to protect Espen from becoming a second "mana heart"~
