"Weekly WIP": ...not really weekly though...

Hello! I feel like I'm owing you all some updates...I'm sorry for no words for a while.

Other than getting sick...again... I've been only focusing on commissions for this month, with a few ideas and things I want to do for my personal projects in my mind, but I get overwhelmed way too easy when I try to work on a bunch of stuff at once! And like I didn't know that already...I tried getting started on a lot all at once. And of course that didn't go well for me.

So I then switched to focusing on one at a time, and now things are going slowly but smoothly! I've got two commissions done from the august batch, and excited to keep going now!

I just posted the last one I was able to finish here, and not only it was such a lovely scene, but it gave me the opportunity to improve a little more on G'raha's...casual bed rig?

So I did a few slight changes to his shirt, necklace and hair, and added a few more controllers to his necklace. The cover, first image of this post is also a still image I did as a test for the lighting and overall feel of the character before getting started on this. I've been having fun trying to make stills with Blender too, though I still feel like I could improve a lot on them, too. Maybe I can get some time to practice with them...maybe while trying to render with Cycles...I have future plans that might require me to use Cycles next year.

I still have two more projects on queue, and then when everything's done, I will go back to working on a personal one for a little while! I just haven't decided if it's going to be a long and complex one (Heartache!) or a shorter one. Maybe the "Champion of Eorzea" that I've been thinking about for way too long, too. The summer event gave me some ideas, so just in case, I'm probably downloading that environment before the event ends!

I've been trying to have ideas for a Patreon video that might be interesting to post here too, so again, as always, if you have any requests or ideas, let me know!

Again, I'm sorry for the lack of regular updates! It's...getting harder and harder for me to get organized, and I honestly don't really know why. It's like I'm always fighting to put things back on track for the past few months. Things have been going forward, though, as much as it's not the way I wish they were, and in a irregular pace, so hopefully I can still keep showing you what I've been working on more often!
