WIP: Wolgraha Week + August Commissions!

Hello! How is everyone?

This past week I've been working on a short animation I want to post at the start of August for Wolgraha week on bluesky. Did you know the first XIV video I made was for this? I would often see people posting their wolgraha art and everything on twitter a few years ago and really wanted to participate too! And that inspired me to get to making these animations...the first ever thing I did was actually the New World GMV. So it's a really fun fandom event that I always look forward to seeing and celebrating!

Anyway, this year I wanted to participate too, and from what I see a lot of people are getting ready for it!

I don't usually try to get every prompt done because it's stressful if I try to force myself to do it, so I'm at least finishing an animation for one of the days and if I think of something simple for the others I might work on it if I have the time. This one will be for Day 4. Of course I will also post it here and on youtube. I mentioned in the last Behind the Scenes video I posted here, but it is related to the Doman Sake memory in In Storm's Wake!

I made a new G'raha rig for this, too!

I'm also thinking of sharing this one there for Day 2 (Hurt/Comfort) on bluesky too because I think it fits the prompt and I feel like it's a good time to share it a little more. I posted it exclusively here a little more than a year ago, and it still even uses the pre-DT rigs. It's my "Dawntrail depression hug" animation...I think enough time has gone by that I feel much better about it and can actually enjoy that animation without thinking of the reasons of why I thought to make it, if that makes sense...?

After I'm done with this that I really want to focus on...I want to dedicate August to working on more commissions! I think I'm finally ready!

These do take me some time to make though, so I think I won't be able to take them first come first serve, so instead, I will be posting the form here (and later on bluesky too, depending on demand) and picking out the ideas I think I can do a good job on. I want to be sure that if people are trusting me with their characters and money, that I can make it worth the wait and investment, and since I have limited time to pick them, I think it's better this way (though I feel bad for those that really want something and don't get chosen...sorry!)

My plan is to pick 3 that I can be absolutely sure I will get done next month, and 3 for a wait list that might have to wait longer but I will get to in time.

I will work on getting the form ready today and it should be up on a separate post by tomorrow. No rush in thinking of something to send if you're interested, I will try to leave it up for longer this time. Depending on how many people send something, I will try to organize myself for a bigger wait list and contact everyone to see if they're okay with it...so I'm still needing to gain confidence from doing this, basically, hope you all understand :x
