A BIG Channel Update! (Three new videos)

So hello my Patreon residing friends. It's been awhile since I last provided a proper update so here is a monster helping of NEWS...

I've been hard at work since the release of the Metroid Retrospective back in December and over the next few weeks I have quite a bit of CONTENT to dole out to you

The first is a big surprise. 

I've been secretly working on a Lengthy Review of Prince of Persia The Lost Crown which is just about finished and will be releasing in A FEW DAYS TIME

The video is around an hour and a half long and explores the history of Ubisoft Montpellier, this new game's place in the franchise and how well it holds up to its Metroidvania competitors.  It's a little bit of a different direction but I've wanted to experiment this year so hopefully people enjoy it and it opens some new avenues!

Secondly - an update about the next Retrospective.

You might have seen over on YouTube or Twitter that I announced that Onimusha will be the subject of the next major video and progress is going really well on it. I've now finished 4/8 games and have the script about a third finished. I'm aiming to release this in the first week of March so fingers crossed - it shouldn't be too much longer to wait.

It's become quite a detailed video as I've found all sorts of interesting rabbit holes which I'm sure you'll find as captivating as I do. I hope you like eastern pop stars, Capcom developer drama and musical scandal - this video has got it all.

Thirdly - the second Bonus Damage Podcast will also be releasing next week

In December I recorded the second Bonus Damage Podcast covering the Metroid Series. The quests were The Crawl and WayneisBoss and frankly - the discussion was absolutely great. They both are exceptional Metroid scholars and we really got into some theorising about the series and where it could go. The final cut just needs to be sorted and then I'll publish it here for everyone to enjoy!

It's been quite a lot of work but I'm really excited about this next phase and how 2024 is shaping up so far. I've been assigned a YouTube Partner Manager, we're close to 140k subscribers, the videos are shaping up nicely and I couldn't be happier with the channel in general.
