As the current arc is slowly drawing to a close, I'm starting to prepare what's next, and I thought it wouldn't hurt to know what you personally hope to see in there in terms of general content.
Can't promise I'll take any of it into account, but I would still like to know. (｀• ω •´)b
Of course I'll be reading your comments too (as I always do) but know that if you ask for any one specific thing in there it's very very unlikely to actually happen.

I don't like to pester the publisher for release dates but I'll ask if it takes too long. ^^

I like how you write fight scenes but half a dozen one after another with nothing truly substantial in between might have been a bit much. You created an amazing world with lots of interesting characters and I want to see more of them. Perhaps Sofia can take a short break and ... consolidate? Finish her home, wake up the dryad, "level up" etc. I also expected to see more of Saria and Alith. I know more characters means more work but Sofia needs her friends and family. Lore, Deep and exploration can wait, I don't think there are any pressing issues there. In my opinion consolidating plot lines might be a good idea now, before the story grows beyond what readers can remember. With that I mean, Sofia needs to work on a few items from her to-do list instead of going on new adventures. Maybe she can get help from Saria and her friends with that?

2024-11-05 04:58:14 +0000 UTCu know its funny you bring this up cause as i just binged everything i was acrually saying to myslef that the progressionon thins story is actually good it progressed fast but not to fast so many times whith stories with these they power boost them to quick and stuff they also eith linger on some thing to long or go thru them to quick weather it be a lore part or something like that but the pasing not only wiht the leveling and power increases as well as not overdoing any particular arc has been really good. So i would just say keep doing things how you have been nothing seems to drawn out or that you just breeze over things

That said, I do want to see Remia gain consciousness, and maybe get Sofia’s last name as a bonus. Thanks for the great story so far, and all the chapters to come! Ps when is book 3 Audio getting released? Only 1 form of media is not enough for this book lol

I would be happy with lore/world/deep development, but PLEASE give us at least one fight soon where Sofia absolutely dumpsters a challenging opponent with her signature skill. You can't just give her the most powerful signature skill anyone has ever had at level 250 and not use it for the next 100 chapters. The one time she used it against the temple guardian doesn't count and only left me disappointed. I'd also like to see Sofia's bizarre family develop more. Specifically Dryad, Shaily, Bookie, Pareth, and sometimes Alith+Saria. (develop as in family dynamics rather than side stories of each character)

However, I feel like that should be more a stated goal of hers that she starts pursue after cleaning up loose ends. Which there are a ton of. Finally leveling again, restoring memories of friends and closer acquaintances, checking on Alith for the 100k stat candies, etc. I'm sure a lot could be trimmed down but I think it wouldn't be bad to take the first half of a book to step back and have a more interaction heavy section. I know I'm not alone in thinking the story could use some breathing room from conflict for a bit.

2024-11-04 23:02:07 +0000 UTCI voted "politics", with the idea that I'd love to see her (and the other characters!) more as "part of the world" if that makes sense - exploring their existing or new/expanding ties to places/people/orgs in a broader sense than just specific character-on-character interactions. A lot of the adventures and arcs have been pretty centered around the the direct character progressions and "next steps" for themselves, but I think the story elements that show how they're increasingly becoming important to (and involved in) the world have been the most interesting and provide real enjoyable context for how strong they're becoming. "Numbers go up" doesn't mean or feel like much in a vacuum after all (not saying that's what you've done, to be clear)!

2024-11-04 22:44:20 +0000 UTCFights are nice but you can write much as you want about them you will run into the risk of getting repeating things or running out of ideas. I personally think a good World Building is more important. You ever watched Dragon Ball Z? They really took it to an extreme with how many episodes a fight could take that would have been not more than a couple of minutes. Fighting is for action but to much can put a stop to story progression so balance is important.

If you were talking about that one then yes.

Theres so much interesting stuff in this universe, but im gettin a little burned out on some of the fighting personally. Glad to hear this ones almost over though. Im letting the chapters build up because im not the biggest fan of what I did read of this temple. Wanna just binge through the rest once its def done.

Perhaps even a Deep trip with her and maybe Shalily wants given the Deep involvement to gain knowledge about those things. (fulfilling more interaction, more deep, and more lore/exploration). Additionally like I said on this discord (Shield) I would love to have a quick chapter of Sofia un-deeping Astelia's deeped friend.

2024-11-04 21:58:48 +0000 UTCMore numbers go up is an easy choice, she hasn't leveled at all in a long while and the solution to that problem seems to be taking quite a while longer than it seemed :D And more of Saria would be fun to, maybe also visit all her former friends who helped her out when she got started and make sure they actually remember her.
