Update, and wishing a happy new year!
Added 2024-12-31 22:31:54 +0000 UTCI realized that I had been silent for a long time, and so I decided to write this announcement.
We have reached the end of another year, and it has certainly been one of the most turbulent of all my years as an artist. More than two years ago, I suddenly had to take on the financial responsibilities of my family due to some problems with my mother. Since then, I have been struggling in an exhausting cycle, where there was never a break, as there were always more debts to be paid.
During this time, many other things happened that made my work even more exhausting. As if working under such terrible pressure was not enough, I lost my cat, people from my family, had to deal with all the frustration and anger of the emergence of AI, the Twitter ban in Brazil that threatened my work and recently, many other personal and family problems. This is the first year in many that I have felt suicidal again. It is a lot to deal with emotionally and physically exhausted and before I realized it, I could no longer focus on my work in a responsible and proper way. Actually, i could not even find the happiness i had in art.
I'm slowly getting better and I'll spend these first few weeks of the new year updating and finishing what I need to do. I have messages to answer, the Patreon to update, and the discord too.
I can only thank all of you for the patience and understanding you've been showing me. Although it's my responsibility as an artist to stay professional, it's never been your responsibility to be understanding and kind when i fail to be the way i needed to be, and yet you still are. Again, thank you very much, and I hope you all have a wonderful new year.
