Ahoy Buccaneers!

In v0.39, now available for Patrons, the tournament reaches its grand finale and we begin a new year in-game with a fully animated event featuring our beautiful Gladiator. 🔥

As always, I know reworks are tricky. Some people will prefer the previous version, and that is completely valid. But that is how changes work. Not everyone likes them, but they are necessary to update the art and keep visual consistency with the rest of the characters, who have evolved over time and end up leaving the older ones behind.

This rework is not just a visual change. This refresh opens up new possibilities for the future, from new images in her room or on the ship, to her own events or minigames, new outfits and expressions, and even, perhaps, the chance to renew important parts of the Thriller Bark arc so they fit better with the game’s current state.

Going deeper into the Dressrosa themes, the idea is to make it possible for Rebecca to join our crew in v0.41 and then gradually add her lewd events over subsequent versions. Many of you may be wondering, or already coming up with theories, about what happens with Don Flamingo in the arc. I can assure you that he will appear, but not in the Coliseum, rather in the continuation of the arc’s story. I plan to create continuations for all storylines and let the player decide whether they want to continue them. However, to avoid making the recruitment of a new crew member too long, characters will be recruited first and the continuation will come afterward if the player wishes. In these continuations, I plan to add unique events for each character, but this is something that will take a lot of time due to the amount of work involved, so I will be implementing it little by little.

On the other hand, we are very close to reaching 50,000 buccaneers, and I cannot help but say how grateful I am for the constant support. Every message, every comment, and every show of enthusiasm pushes this ship a little farther

If everything goes according to plan, the new versions should be released around the middle of this month. I will confirm the exact date later so everyone can get ready.
