Ahoy Buccaneers!

Today I bring you a sneak peek of version 0.39, where among several things I want to show you a first preview of something very requested: Perona’s rework!

In the last poll it was decided to prioritize the rework of one of the first girls to join the crew. Precisely because she was one of the first, her art had fallen a bit behind compared to the game’s current style, so it was time to update her.

Here’s a first look at the rework of our ghost princess, Perona 👻:

As I mentioned before, I know many of you like the current design, and that’s exactly why my idea was to update her without changing her too much. This rework opens up new possibilities for the future, such as new images in her room or on the ship, events or minigames, new outfits and expressions, and even renewing parts of the Thriller Bark arc. I’ll be bringing all of this little by little!

As has happened before, I know reworks are difficult and there will always be people who prefer the previous version. Not everyone likes changes, but they are necessary to update the art and keep consistency with the rest of the characters in the game.
