WALKTHROUGH v0.28

In version 0.31, the Yamato rework will already be available for all of you!

It was a difficult task to carry out, but I finally managed to achieve a good result. With this rework finished, I bring you the lewd Doggystyle events of Robin and Yamato! I think both events underwent a huge update! The jump in quality from the old ones to the new ones is quite noticeable, and I’m very happy with the results. Go check them out and leave me your comments!

On the other hand, having finished these reworks, I adjusted Robin’s and Yamato’s expressions throughout the entire Alabasta arc, making them more in line with the situations that were happening throughout this story. From Cactus Island until Vivi is recruited, the girls’ expressions have been updated, and I also made small improvements or fixes to the events. Little by little, I will continue with other parts of the game!

Finally, at your request, I added in the Settings Menu an option to adjust the level of transparency of the dialogue boxes. At the lowest level, it even disappears, if that’s what you want.

There’s an active poll to choose the next buccaneer, their associated arc, and all the possible secondary characters and related events. It’s an important vote and there’s little time left before it closes, so don’t forget to participate!

Thank you all so much for helping the game continue to grow!

Leave your likes and comments!

Until next time!

Hey Kuma! Thanks a lot as always for your message. This kind of analysis might be better kept private, more summarized, or maybe tomorrow when there’s an official Discord, in the corresponding section. Even though I love your messages, this one ended up especially long lol, and it maybe doesn’t leave much space for others to participate haha. I’ll take care of creating the corresponding areas so the community can make these kinds of contributions! On the translations side, excellent! The best way will be to use Discord or another medium to sort this out, I’ll have to review the current translation tools. I’m noting down all the areas of the game that still need to be translated! Thanks a lot for detailing the Elegia market issue, I’ll review it. As for the Thriller Bark arc, it wasn’t updated. It was the first one released, and it wasn’t revised in terms of expressions—I’ve noted it down for post reworks. Same with Elegia. So far, the Arabasta arc was the only one revised, and I’ll probably give it another check. The girls will have their own separate stories; however, the main stories will always be with the three protagonists. I believe I’ve mentioned this on one or two occasions before, but I’ll take the opportunity to go deeper into the subject. I could consider adding some dialogue from the other girls in certain parts of the story as a detail, but just something minimal… because this idea simply isn’t viable—the complexity it involves hasn’t really been taken into account. Lusty Buccaneers currently has, aside from the 3 main characters, another 4 possible members, and it will have more, many more… If I had to adapt each story for every character and all the possible scenarios where one might be present or not depending on the path chosen, can you imagine the amount of possibilities? On top of that, if all of them are talking, then there are way more dialogues and codes for movement or expressions, among other technical issues, which would literally make each event take me 4 times longer than usual, considering all the possibilities and dialogues. So it’s impossible to do without completely sacrificing all my time designing how the characters might interact. On top of that, each of the girls has her own personality and interacts differently with the others or with the player, which expands the possibilities even further… In fact, if the player could choose their team, it would be even worse, because there would be a variation of events for every character. I don’t even know how many other variants I might be overlooking, but the truth is that this might be something players want, yet it’s impossible to implement. I’m sure that if I took 2 months on a single version just to add this, players wouldn’t like it at all, because there’s no way I could achieve it in less time—it’s impossible. And the more characters there are, the more unrealistic this becomes… so this is completely ruled out. Sorry about your no-fap September hahaha, thanks so much for your comments as always, I’ll keep everything in mind! Kampai!

Nika

Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening, Nika. I'm here to share my report on this version of the game. I played it from scratch, focusing on a few routes. Here's my report, divided into three categories: Translation Issues, Bugs, and Constructive Criticism. So, without further ado: Translation Issues: I played the entire game in the Portuguese translation and noticed a few errors. One of the most obvious was the translation error on the Main Deck, where there are several options. One of them, "Check the Girls' Room," was translated as "Bathroom," both in the selected option and in the dialogue that follows. Furthermore, the girls' minigames weren't translated. Neither were the naval battles, which range from the battle with the small ship to Zala's Ship, where Vivi's story arc begins. The dialogue between the girls and the battle option boxes. And speaking of which, when saving, loading, or overwriting saves, because of the translation, the lyrics end up leaving the "Dialogue" box. And finally, some lines from the Elegy arc were not translated correctly, if I remember correctly, it was close to where we meet Coby (I don't remember if it was before, during, or right after). Bugs: Well, it was difficult to find any Bugs, congratulations, that was until I got to the Uta arc, where when opening the market a few times, the Money icon bugs out and doesn't disappear, even restarting the game, I had to play the entire route with the money icon on the screen, it didn't bother me much at first, but it's good to report it here, as it was very close to the dialogue bubbles and actions. Ps: I don't know if it counts as a Bug, but when it's time to have Sex with Uta, or ask her to take off her clothes, she takes off all her clothes, except for the Blue Sleeve on her arm, that's literally the only piece of clothing left, as if she had been in conflict with her sprites with her clothes ripped, so I leave it as an extra, just in case. Constructive Criticism: Because I played from Zero, I noticed several things, one of them being the characters' features, like, Nami's features don't match her lines in the Thriller Bark arc, where almost all the dialogue, she speaks with fear of the place, but when you look at her face, she's all smiling and happy, and this also happens a lot with Yamato, but this time in the Elegy arc, where for the most part, her lines, especially in the principal's office, she's totally angry, but when you look at her image, she's all happy, This even reminded me of the Simpsons meme, where Ralph Wiggun says "I'm happy and angry". Another thing I noticed is that even though the game is non-linear, in theory, it doesn't change anything in the game, because it doesn't matter if you do Uta's arc first, or leave Vivi's arc for last, because the characters we recruit don't change anything in the story, from the focus, to the secondary participations, like in the naval battles, only Nami, Robin and Yamato appear, this kind of breaks the game's proposal, I know what I'm asking is too much, especially since we're still seeing the game "born", but if I, for example, can get Hancook at the beginning of the story, I want to see her participation in other arcs, and not leave her, or Perona, Vivi, or Uta inside the boat, Who wouldn't like to see a X1 between Boa and Crocodille? See Perona all excited to meet Uta? Uta managing to calm the people of Arabasta with her Song to help Vivi talk to Koza and the rebel group? I wish this would be changed in the future. And that's it, I did everything I could, I played until I had nothing left to do, even though I was a bit boring in that last part, I have to say, I liked the game, compared to V0.05 that I played, wow, it's practically another game, I spent a good few hours playing, unfortunately I missed the September Challenge, I made a mistake, I was a kid, that's what happens when playing +18 games, for so many hours in a row. And with all that, this game easily gets an 8.5/10. Now, I'll only play again God knows when.... I hope I helped Nika, I did what I could, if I left any bugs, or translation problems, I'm sorry, and for those who thought there wouldn't be any.... Drink water guys, Water is so good, at least 2 liters a day, Your body will thank you 🫡
