That rain scene pre-race one shot has to be one the greatest things I've seen in anime ever. 1st time watching this I actually watched it dubbed because I didn't want to read subtitles since I really wanted to watch the visuals in detail. Subbed VA quality is overall better, but I did think that the English dub using child VAs for the 1st part of the film rather than the usual "female VAs doing child voices" was pretty interesting.
