Post-Hospital Update Video

I’m back from the hospital, feeling good, but exhausted and catching up on lots of lost sleep. In this video, I just talk about the experience and process of having the hernia surgery and how the recovery is going.

I’m looking forward to the future more than I have in years - and I’m also pleased to announce that I still have a bit of bellybutton, keeping my previous belly shape, so there won’t be anything much to get used to once I’m all healed up.

Thank you for sticking through this with me. I hope no one else has to go through this experience themselves, but if they do, I hope that talking about it will make it easier on them than it was for me. It wasn’t a pleasant experience, but if I had been more mentally prepared, it wouldn’t have been so scary or stressful.
