Sure, Mark could try dashing in at Mach 3 but they probably can't survive those speeds. Even if they could, the hero in Mark wouldn't terrify hostages further without trying to pause and reassure them first to see if they're okay (or if there's a trap they know about). But then again, like chat said, Mark didn't go to UA so he's terrible at handling these situations period lmao
