This update is coming along quite well. Polarisdreamer has sent me much of the story and I've nearly completed up to the point that he's sent me (minus a few character sprites). He said the next part that he sends over will involve the endings, so once I have that one, I'll be able to better gauge when the release will be.
Currently, it seems like we're trending towards an on-time release! Very excited about that since this update has been a lot of fun and would be awesome to have this one actually post on Halloween.
I will say, something that has taken quite a bit of time is that I've revamped many of the character models to have their own weight stages this time rather than relying on previously created sizes from past updates. This has taken a tremendous amount of time, but has created solid appearances for many of the characters.
