Been really enjoying your reactions to this series! Glad you've been having such fun with it so far~ Thought I'd mention since I noticed it these last two episodes, wherever you're watching the show seems to be using the english dub subtitles rather than the translated english subs that would accompany the japanese audio. I've been watching both versions on Netflix so it's easy to compare which is which. I don't think it ultimately matters, only that some lines from certain characters come off a bit differently in the english dub vs english subs for the japanese, which I think tends to get translated a bit more "accurately" since the english can sometimes be restricted based on their ability to map dialogue to the animation. If nothing else, it's kind of an interesting quirk! It might also explain why the quotation marks in the subtitles are weird, they probably got scrambled based on how these sites got their subtitles? Also, wanted to mention a fun fact! Chilchuck admits to being 29 here, which still seems relatively young for us. However, in this universe, halflings have a life expectancy of ~50-60 years. So he's actually middle-aged for his species!
