Alastor still my favorite character with his scary and creepy smile, and clearly scheming something big just for his personal entertainment. He's almost like a mix of the Cheshire Cat and the Joker.

Alastor and Lilith (Charlie's mother) went missing 7 years ago around the same time (mentioned in episode 1 and 2). He probably sold his soul to Lilith due to some reason and that's why he's at the hotel right now helping Charlie. Lilith might be forcing him too. May also be why he's so passive aggressive to Lucifer, but i assume he probably also has an ulterior motive.
