by the way, kyubey's interpretation on entropy is very very false lmao. Energy is neither created nor destroyed. and the energy it takes to grow and gather wood has absolutely nothing to do with the thermal energy used to light the fire. Kyubey js yappin lmao. My best friend/former girlfriend in high school introduced me to it so it's been a long-time fave, I'm always delighted when people who aren't familiar with the show and its twists get to experience it blind. These last few episodes have been especially fun to watch, your commentary has been hilarious and I'm really glad you've started genuinely enjoying the show and getting invested! Very excited to see you finish it up~ I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but there's a movie called Rebellion that comes after this series - I only bring it up because I adore it, so I just wanted to say I hope you'll be reacting to it soon after finishing the show! I'm super excited for the possibility. It's a gorgeous film and quite an experience! I don't think the eng subbed version is available for streaming anywhere (no idea why), but last time I watched, I was able to buy it on vudu.

2023-10-23 20:14:19 +0000 UTCWell now that the reveal that Homura is from another timeline is out, at some point ED should rewatch the show again after finishing episode 12 (though maybe on your own time) cuz knowing that plot point recontextualizes stuff that didn't seem like much on the first run (especially stuff in episode 1, there's stuff their that's pretty wild after watching the whole thing). Madoka in general is one of those shows that you can watch it like 10 times and find new stuff in the dialogue or in the background every time that's cool.
