I had to go back and forth a few times with that transition. Made it seem like the girl was some creepy stalker lmao. Yeah, they exaggerate colds in romcoms for sure. But at least here they did explicitly say that she's "quite seriously ill." And she did say her throat hurts. So it actually makes sense here. There's nothing weak about it. Literally just a human fucking being being very sick, as was implied over and over and over and over in that scene.

Some peeps really feel the need to leave up unnecessary subtitles for an entire conversation. Crunchyroll definitely has their moments of fucking up, but they still have the best video player and subtitles when they do have their shit together, which is honestly most of the time (at least for me anyway).
