Mei looks like she might be the offspring of that pink-haired Tensen woman.... and I guess the father would be the blonde. Yo, what if... in the spirit of them potentially being blood-related, the three of them share some sort of physical connection. Like if one gets injured, the other two get injured in the exact same spot. So the blonde dude had his left shoulder and arm cut off, and regenerated..... so what if due to that, Mei got a scar right where he was cut? Hm, but then.... if we talk about a physical connection like that, that would make the scene at the end of last episode and beginning of this episode even more disturbing. Yikes. I'm probably overthinking it lol.

She's even less convincing as a 17 y.o. than Jotaro in Stardust Crusaders. I think Yuzuriha is "unknown" for age. So, we'll pretend she's at least 18.
