She was definitely way too used to being the cute girl at the center of attention, which led to her being insecure about her "position" and feeling toxic jealousy towards Akane. But she really didn't need to go as far as she did, obviously. Which is why big bro Eita is giving her a good stern lecture. That said, part of growing up is learning from mistakes (albeit a really shitty mistake in this case). And at the very least, I say it counts for something that she clearly regrets her behavior and apologized profusely. Hopefully we'll end up adoring her character by the end of the season with some solid character development. Also, Akane is too wholesome and pure. Runa doesn't deserve her. None of us do. XD Pretty sure that last moment before the credits, Yamada was starting to actually develop feelings for Akane.
