"Yet you've found yourself with our darling boy--" Luneroca's stern voice broke Evelyn's concentration. "And you're a demon spawn no less," Tal followed without hesitation, continuing the sentence as if it was his own.
Evelyn's body froze, trying to figure out who these two really were. Ashley treated them as if they were his parents. There's nothing wrong here, they're just odd... right? Evelyn's mind raced as her seemingly permanent smile wavered.
"Come now..." Luneroca's voice carried a calm tone to it, but was still as sharp as it was unknown. "-Ashley said you're his girlfriend right?" "Loosen up," "have you never met someone's parents before?" Tal's voice mocked Evelyn's rigidity.

Meet Luneroca and Tal, Ashley's adoptive parents and circus troupe leaders! Even though Ashley is an orphan, as far as we know, he treats his strange parents as if they were his birth parents. Nothing ever seemed off to him about them, and maybe there isn't. One things for sure, their love is eternal and maybe that's the most frightening thing to a succubus.

Luneroca and Tal are both men. I usually don't clarify this but people do love to assume that when I give a character breasts it makes them a woman.
