There's a lot of story behind this character so I'll boil it down to this for now.

Athylia is Evelyn's, and Ilyth's, angel. What that means is that it's her job to make sure that Evelyn is performing her succubus/demon duties to the fullest. Unfortunately for her, Evelyn is the top succubus already meaning that she literally doesn't get to do anything. Fortunately for her, she still has Krystal, her bodyguard and secret girlfriend. Despite the rules of Unuaphym, a subset of angels dedicated to specifically keep Succubi/Inccubi on task, saying that relationships in her line of work would muddy and be a disbenefit of the succubi/inccubi, it's the one rule that she breaks in secret because her Succubi, Evelyn, breaks it as well. Even though she feels guilt, the without the comfort she feels from Krystal she would go insane.

Her character is insanely complex and there's a lot of story I've written about her that needs to be cleaned up for a public reading, but for now that little snippet is enough for her character to really be understood.
