Mochi Moshi Dev Log #7

I know you guys have been waiting for this one, and it took me a while because I was doing something important!

The first route's draft is COMPLETELY FINISHED!!! YAY!!!

What does this mean?

Well I'll tell ya! The writing of a complete route, one of 24 (+1) is done, not cleaned up, but the complete story and script is through it's first pass. This took a while because we, me and my co-writer, have been thinking about how the flow of the game will go story wise. Since we upgraded to 4 week we thought about what that meant. Ultimately we decided that a path will NOT use every transformation in every path.

"Wait what!?" That's you right now! But I promise this doesn't mean you're missing out on weight gain or expansion content. What it means is that the final week doesn't use the 4th transformation, meaning you can skip a transformation you don't want to see, and ultimately the story ends cleaner than trying to squeeze in another transformation. The way me and my co-writer see it is that, if you want everything but weight gain, you can make her an hourglass gal, or if you want everything but breast expansion, you can make her flatter chested. You're not forced into basically having a similar body type most of the routes, every Kazumi is different, every run is different, and every time is fun.

Ultimately I think this makes for an amazing game experience, and story wise it makes the most sense so we can wrap up every path in the fourth week, continue on the expansions/gains/transformations one more week and have a unique location in every ending path to give it that final oomph that the game is replayable.

Now lets talk about the path that was done.

I'm not going to do this with every path that's done, but I will let you guys know in bulk when paths are completed to keep up with progress.

The first path completed was Ass Expansion -> Breast Expansion -> Weight Gain

This means that the body type for Kazumi will end with 4 Stages of Ass growth, 3 Breast and 2 Weight gain. Picture what that means in your mind, I know I am and have to while writing the script. Every path is going to follow this sort of trend, even the more abstract "Lazy Transformation."

I won't spoil what happens at the end, even the location, but I will say that the tentative title of the Route, ala Shadow the Hedgehog style, is "Model Rises from the Bottom."

I hope this progress report was a good amount of information! Thanks again for supporting me and in the first or second week of November should be the next update! We have so much more to go with the story and with every moment we finish another node, the amount needed left grows smaller.... Fortunately Kazumi is not doing the same...
