Content changes later this year (+ commission update)

As some of you may already know, later this year i will be quitting commissions and YCHs likely forever.
Once commissions/YCHs close, they will be replaced with content that i want to make, stuff that i'd draw for fun rather than as a job.

Main reason for this is that its unsustainable. I'm barely able to keep up with commission work nowadays, its become increasingly difficult to force myself to draw these and its extremely draining.
While i understand there will be a significant income loss as a result, i would rather deal with that than to continue working like i've always been.

Thank you for the answer, I can't wait to see how you'll improve your content ✨✨

I would hate for you to lose your passion for art by feeling forced to continue comms and YCHs. I'm sure I speak for most of us patrons when I say we would much rather see you create whatever you wish. And I know if you ever decide to expand in other ways (like prints of your work, for example), loads of people would love to buy them! I certainly would. I hope this new direction helps you! 💚

ych means a "your character here" auction. as for the pinup polls, those i think will remain and eventually ill make changes on that too

You should definitely do what is best for your well-being, You Only Live Once. Just out of curiosity, what is (or better, was) YCH? Also, will the pin-up poll remain or will you go full focus on your art, spreading your wings and flying as high as you can go?

Your mental health comes before all else. I love your personal work over rcommisisons anyways. Keep up the good work!!

Your health is more important, and by turning you Hobby into a Job you'll likely loose all joy in doing it. So yeah. I'll keep supporting you for as long as I can regardless which way you go. You do a very good Job with your Art pieces and I really don't want to see that talent and skill disappear. Do what you want to do. Do what makes you happy. It's a lesson I am currently learning myself.

Health 100% comes first! I had to do the same, I thought I was going to go insane with the stress my job was giving me, I changed departments and went part time. The money lost is nothing compared to how my mental health is already improving just shy of a month into the change

anonnymousspacething

Understandable. Personal health first

MissKay1994

Drawing what you like is making things more stable! Long term stability with more personal satisfaction is more important than short term gain and burning out!

CatCouch

You might see the same amount of art, although i cant say for certain because i havent had commissions excluded from my workflow in such a long time

Will Patreon uploads also slow down with this change?

Oliver Perry

I mean long term money only matters if you plan on living long

Totally understandable! Would appreciate seeing you enjoy drawing things you prefer more often!
