The Reign of Jess resumes

With the public launch of the mini-update now in the rear-view mirror, (hope you all enjoyed it, and are having fun with whatever the state of the school is in your playthrough,) we now look ahead to the second part of The Reign of Jess.
Let's go over what we know so far. Jessica has won, and Missy is now her slave. With Miss Paris under her control, and Abbie at her mercy, Missy now does the only thing she can to save her friend and bows to her nemesis.
It's now Saturday, and Missy and Abbie have two days to figure this out before school resumes. This means that while you're playing Chapter 5, you won't be able to enter the school. (Though it'll re-open after it's complete but before Chapter 6 is released, with everything that happens being assumed to happen before this, same as with Chapter 4.)
Chapters 5 and 6 will take place outside school, and in this chapter, you'll even get to venture beyond the walls of Sapphory City, as your search for clues takes you to Fivaviana, a bustling port-city. It's a much more open and dangerous place than the heavily fortified and patrolled capital. You may even encounter women from the outside world here, as Fivaviana is one of the only ports to trade with it.
You'll also be spending some time away from Missy in this chapter, as she'll have slave duties she must attend (don't worry, you'll still get to see them.) And while Missy is serving her mistress, you'll pilot Abbie, and be likewise privy to her thoughts and observations. I'm enjoying writing for a different protagonist, as you've seen with Miss Paris and Karen in their respective games, I try to have some fun with it. Also, whisper it, but I've had a great idea for a third such game. More on that closer to the time.
Anyway, yeah Chapter 5 is going to be pretty great, there's masses of new stuff to explore, new adventures to be had, and of course, Jess has a lot planned for our hapless heroine. Chapter 4 was the beginning of the story, and now we move on to the juicy, juicy middle.

2023-09-07 16:01:51 +0000 UTCSo you remember how you completed Chapter 4, but then nothing had changed in school? This is because all the changes will be happening after Chapter 6, as in the finished thing, you'll play chapters 4, 5 and 6 without going back to school in between. Because Chapters 5 and 6 aren't made yet, you can continue to play school days, but you have to imagine they're happening before chapters 4 and 5, because no one there is reacting to what happened in Chapter 4. Does that make sense?
