Avenging Angel Retrospective

Welcome to this week's public update. I'm at the early preliminary work stage with Chapter 5 and the mini-update, so before we start looking forward, let's have a quick look back over the quest that has just released. Needless to say that today's piece contains spoilers for Avenging Angel, and so if you haven't played it yet, now is probably the time to stop reading.
Avenging Angel was the surprise winner of the December Council poll to decide on the main content of 0.6. I had put together quite a bit of stuff on it already, but hadn't expected to be working on it this quickly. It's an Act 2 quest, meaning that once the game is far enough along, it won't happen until after the Reign of Jess arc is completed, which has been the cause of some confusion for people, with two slave stories running simultaneously.
Angel's (very attractive, though I do say so myself) character model had already been made and had even put in a cameo appearance in Chapter 4. The ending for Poppy was already in my mind, but I came up with Isolation, and thus Angel's ending, relatively late on in the design process. I'm quite pleased with the way the story came out and especially happy with the two variations of the ending scene with Jessica.
One of the goals I had in designing this quest was to bring the game back a little from how extreme things had gotten in Chapter 4 - Jess's victory scene in the classroom and some of the other things that had happened, while hot, were heavy-going in a game that's marketed as "light-hearted" - but without sacrificing the humiliation and submission aspects of the story. So we saw things like the tickle-torture scene, which dealt with the interrogation of a suspected traitor, but in a more comedic and schoolgirl-y way. (The version in which it happens to Missy even has a gag to this effect.)
The mini-update will deal with the fallout from these stunning events, including the effects on the school of which side is now ascendant - if the bad girls are winning, we'll see them becoming more bold than they have been before, while if the popular girls have managed to put Poppy back in her box, we'll see them mercilessly clamping down on those who supported her.
The story turned out towards the top end of my expectations and feedback has been good, but as before, I'd like to run a public poll on how it was received. Because the third part is a late-game quest, it's going to be a while before we see it, but I hope you're enjoying Poppy's story and excited for its eventual conclusion!

plot itself is amazing, but probably needed to be enriched with more fetishes on escalation basis.

2023-07-24 12:45:18 +0000 UTCIn short = more degradation is needed, with escalation - if Missy submits one time for light staff, the next time, after her reputation drops, she is expected to face more degrading staff. If she continues to submit - her path will become more and more tough and degrading, leading to a very bad ending :)

But if males are considered inferior, being penetrated by a toy that represents their sexual organ could add to the humillation. Or be justified in that way. Also, some others forms of humillation like: Financial domination (if Missy gets a stable job to pay tributes, maybe robbing from her house or others if not?). To the point where Missy has to thank her tormentor for using her money or credit card. Toilet play, at least farts and peeing. Optional scat would also be nice. Spitting. More ass, legs and feet licking, kissing and smelling. Also grabbing by the neck with force during sex scenes. More verbal humillation about betrayals, for example Poppy telling Missy how pathetic she is to betray her friends only for the privilege of being at her feet. Or making her say who/what she prefers or loves more. If being with her friends or being her slave. And Missy showing reluctance to answer but being turned by the humillation. There could also be scenes where Poppy/Jess grabs her ass, fingers her or kisses her in front of Abby or Lola. In a hidden way or not.
